How We Use PRO:
RICH & NATASHA: We use PRO to market our primary product, PRO U. We also use PRO to offer a training platform that covers the gamut of marketing strategies. We’ve seen how quickly marketing strategies and tools can change, so PRO is an obvious “one-stop-shop

How I Use PRO:

I use PRO as an income stream and a mastermind group. When I started creating my own products and programs, I fell in love with PRO’s insta-sales pages, order fulfillment, leads management system, and customer service all over again. It’s easy to get things done when you’re working alone.

Why I Am In PRO: See my video for this answer:

My Favorite Training Call/Webinar: Copywriting Corner…You want to create SPEED in your business? Knowing what to say and how to say it, and even understanding specific formatting rules = speed in your business.

ALSO, I’m LOVING the new Monday- Friday sandwich, where Justin Woolf pulls a member out on Monday to go over their goals for the week, and follows up with them on Friday. We all know one of the major pitfalls in our industry is suffocating in the state of ‘overwhelm,’ so the public commitment to keep oneself accountable for just 5 days inspires the whole community.

My 3 Favorite Marketing Strategies:

Ask the video…BUT I will add…

Facebook Advertising because it’s the perfect platform to create exposure, case studies, social proof, instant feedback, relationships, and joint venture partnerships.

Video Marketing because videos are my little sales-force robots that I blast all over the web, and they never sleep.

Webinar Marketing because webinars are the secret sauce for printing ca$h on demand.

My Childhood: You’ll hear about it in the video.

What I Do For Fun: Karaoke, working out at the track near my house, snowboarding in the winter, mountain biking in the summer, drinking champagne, hanging out at backyard BBQs, and attending weird, head-scratching, visually stimulating art exhibitions and performances put out by the “Downtown Theater” community in NYC.

Favorite Quote: I don’t think this is my favorite quote, but this author’s book “Return of the Prodigal Son” saved my life when a tremendous heartbreak and some unusual spiritual circumstances threw me into a tailspin a handful of years ago. You can’t be a PRO member if you don’t get that nothing powerful or effective happens without action:

“You don’t think your way into a new kind of living. You live your way into a new kind of thinking.” – Henri Nouwen

My Most Embarrassing Moment: As a Fine Arts major in college, people regularly asked me, “So, are you going to teach?” as if the only option for an artist to earn a “real living” is to teach kids how to use play-doh and poster paint. Those assumptions always infuriated me because I saw them as low expectations. I just didn’t want to teach kids, alright?

Fast-forward to my final semester in college, where I ran into a guy I only saw once a semester. We caught up. I asked him what his plans were after he graduated. As an American History major, he said, “I’m looking forward to teaching history to high school students.”

And I replied, coming completely from a place of projecting my own insecurities, “Oh, that sounds good until something better works out.”

Foot. in. mouth.

His face dropped, and we awkwardly hustled out of that conversation. We were only acquaintances, so I never had the chance to talk to him ever again. I’ve always wanted to apologize for being such a lowly bitch. I’m certain he’s doing exactly what he loves in this very moment.

The irony is I teach Art History at a college in NYC. I love to teach!

Favorite Food: Soon-dooboo…which is a Korean soft tofu soup. Banners of salmon sashimi. And I LOVE LOVE anything that comes off a grill in either ours or our friends’ backyard.

Some Places I’d Like To Visit: Snowboarding in the Andes. Mountain biking in New Zealand. Wanna attend an art residency in Banff, Canada and South of France.

Music I Like: I love when rock and roll meets electronic music, like when Kid Koala turns Rolling Stones or Nina Simone into a dance hit. I almost started crying once when a DJ at a Brazilian bar in Paris mixed The Cure and Nirvana with Bossa Nova. Recently, I have been relying on the driving guitars of Jimi Hendrix or Led Zepplin to psyche myself up before a webinar.

Sometimes I’m just a one-song-on-repeat kind of girl, like when I hear Feel Flows by the Beach Boys, Revolver by the Beatles, or the original Man Who Sold The World by Bowie.

There are a lot of purists who think there’s a lot of indulgent artists making music because there’s more access to equipment and you can spit anything out of a computer, but I’m telling you, there are a lot of 18 year old kids creating BEAUTIFUL sounds out of their bedrooms. Caribou started out of his bedroom, and Andorra is one of the most incredible albums on the planet.

Favorite Movie/Kind Of Movies: Amadeus is my favorite movie, because its so freaking beautiful, and I love historical period pieces. I still carry around my old, useless, tattered VHS tape version like a security blanket. My favorite scene (and you can find it on YouTube) is when Mozart is pitching the Marriage of Figaro to the Austrian Emperor, and all the Emperor’s cronies say, “You gotta make an opera based on what we’ve always done, and besides, the Marriage of Figaro is based on a political play that’s stirring up the masses (hint hint: Marie Antoinette)” and Mozart laughs, “We’re SICK of plays about dead gods! This is a story about LOVE. And only with Opera can you have 20 choruses going on at the same time and still have the story make sense!” So, it’s all about sticking it to the Man, being innovative, and ushering in the modern times.

Last Celebrity Encounter: I recently met Goldie Hawn and Kate Hudson at their fundraiser for the Hawn Foundation, which we went to because we wanted to hear former President Bill Clinton speak (yes, even my ultra-conservative father wanted to hear what the man had to say). Kate Hudson is incredibly nice and normal with unnaturally gorgeous skin. Bill Clinton told this very appropriate and incredible story about how the Israelis were crushing in on a Palestenian demonstration, and he was on the phone with Yassir Arafat, telling him, “don’t retaliate, it’s going to be a mess,” and Arafat responded, “We have to or they will humiliate us,” and Clinton responded, “I think I know a thing or two about humiliation, and here’s what I learned. You CHOOSE to be humiliated.” The entire story, how it played out, was an incredible insight into diplomacy.

Most Rewarding Experience In My Career: My mission statement is “I wake up every day helping people accomplish things they never thought they could,” so when I get “I did it” stories with my help, it’s rewarding. One student changed her major to Art History because of my class (and she had to switch colleges to do it). I helped my friend get down to 8% body fat. I just got a testimonial that a guy heard me say “webinars are like printing money” and so he hosted his first webinar and earned $1K with only 5 attendees!

My Biggest Disappointment In My Career, And How I Am Overcoming That Going Forward:

I didn’t know what I was doing when I first started putting together the pieces to my online business, so I didn’t tell anyone what I was doing. I’m still patching up trust issues in my relationship because of the closet financial risks I took. Also, I was so focused on learning, that I pulled away from my friends, so I’m working hard on restoring those relationships too.

My Pet Peeve: The word “newbie,” because there’s neither power nor confidence in that belief. The phrase “endless supplies of hot leads,” because it perpetuates a myth that you can automate your business without creating a great experience for your subscribers, which leaves all these broke “newbies” flailing around for “hot leads” instead of closing sales and creating clients.

The statement “my favorite artist is Degas” (because we all know you only know about Degas because of all the postcards you’ve seen in gift shops around the world) I’ll tell you why you should appreciate Degas’s work, but please don’t make him your favorite just because he’s popular.

What I Want My Legacy To Be: “Remember that weird chick with the big laugh? She really taught me to embrace absurd humor, find value in everything, and to lean into creative fear.”

PRO Member Since: November 2010

How I Use PRO:

- To take advantage of the comprehensive step-by-step training platform to learn internet marketing and build my business. This covers a seemingly endless array of material and topics;

- To hone my communication skills;

- To work on the self-refinement of my leadership skills;

- To meet, connect, reach out to and MasterMind with real leaders and like-minded people;

- To learn from the best – those who are truly successful and experts in their field.

Why I Am In PRO: I started with PRO because I didn’t like what I was doing. I have stayed with PRO because of the proven system, the people, and the integrity and passion of its founder and leaders.

My Favorite Training Call/Webinar: This is a tough one. Currently it’s between the Leadership Call and the Thursday Night Might Club Mastery Call. The regular business training calls are awesome too.

My 3 Favorite Marketing Strategies:

PPC (Pay-Per-Click), Blog Posts/Article Marketing, and Video Marketing – which I did not used to like. I jumped in and am now having fun with it!

My Childhood: I have always been into sports; mainly, baseball, soccer, football and tennis. I loved going to the country to the family farm, visiting my grandparents in New Jersey and Florida, hanging out with my best buddy who lived two houses away, going to camp, and working on my grandfather’s Guernsey cattle farm in Princeton, NJ. I’m still a kid at heart!

What I Do For Fun: This is an almost endless list as I am an adventuresome soul. I love to ski, play tennis, work out, spend time with my daughter, travel, hike in the mountains, spend time walking on any beautiful (preferably secluded) beach, laugh, mastermind with inspirational and successful people, and spend time with an incredible woman who recently entered my life, doing anything and everything. I enjoy a good book, a roaring fire, cooking, exploring, and anything active. Writing is a pastime I don’t get to do enough and is something that has helped me to learn how to truly reflect and look within myself for ongoing self-refinement. There is no better feeling than helping others, whether it’s assisting someone in need (in whatever capacity), helping them with their business or guide a serious individual to understand and break through his or her fears to change his/her life.

Favorite Quote: “Facing challenges and problems? Not happy with where your life is? Look in the mirror… and there is the cause… and the solution!” I am not sure who first said this, but I’ll take credit if that’s okay!

My Most Embarrassing Moment: You seriously want me to share this? Okay… Freshman year in college, Calculus was at 11 a.m. and was my third class in a row. The teacher was more than boring. One day when wearing a red button down shirt, I fell asleep in class. I woke up and looked around to realize a bunch of other students were laughing at me. I looked down and I had drooled down the front of my shirt in a rather big way and there was a nice puddle of drool on the desk. This was more than embarrassing. There are a few more, but this is the only one you’re getting.

Favorite Food: This completely depends on my mood, where I am and who I’m with. I pretty much like everything and will try anything. I love wild game, particularly when I’m in Jackson, Wyoming visiting dear friends. I also love fresh oysters on the half-shell when sitting by an incredible beach, accompanied with an ice cold beer such as Stella Artois or a local brew if I’m in a foreign country. Lately, eating at home or dining out and drinking a nice red wine when Beth is with me is my favorite type of culinary experience.

Some Places I’d Like To Visit: I have traveled somewhat extensively during my life. I would love to return to Santorini, Greece. One of my top dream destinations is Central America. I am heading to Costa Rica in mid-April and cannot wait! My overall list is pretty long.

Music I Like: I like classic rock n’ roll, jazz, classical. My brother was an original rock musician with his own band, Sonic Joyride, and I still love to listen to his music. He lost his battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease) 7 years ago at age 39 and I miss him every day.

Favorite Movie/Kind Of Movies: This depends on my mood and who I’m with. I do like action/adventure movies, though I also like historical movies, old Cary Grant or Humphrey Bogart flicks, good comedy movies (John Candy was hysterical) and romance films as well. Oh yes, a good Batman movie will really do it, too. Batman Forever is my favorite in this series to this point.

Last Celebrity Encounter: Hmmm, this may have been Michael Jordan in Jacksonville Beach, Florida about 8 years ago.

Most Rewarding Experience In My Career: Being asked to be a member of the PRO Leadership Corps Group.

My Biggest Disappointment In My Career, And How I Am Overcoming That Going Forward:

Like so many others I made a few poor decisions in real estate that lead to a foreclosure on a major investment property. I have a great mindset and am doing what it takes to get this huge hurdle behind me so I can completely focus on turning my life around. A large part of this is my passion to inspire and empower serious individuals to unleash their inner potential.

My Pet Peeve: People who are so self-absorbed that they are completely oblivious to those around them. People who actually believe they know everything. And people who ooze negativity.

What I Want My Legacy To Be: Great question! I want to be remembered for being an aware, passionate individual who always puts my best foot forward, and to be known as someone who really has a positive impact and influence on the people with whom I interact and work. I want to be known for my integrity, being passionate for the people and things I care about and for setting the best possible example.

What would your advice to the newest PRO member be?

Figure out exactly what it is you want and why you want it. Use this to fuel your passion. Be aware of your subconscious fears and resolutely commit to never let them hold you back. Have a plan of action, be persistent, and surround yourself with true leaders who set an incredible example. Get to work on yourself first, then your business and never look back. Make sure self-doubt becomes a thing of the past!

How I Use PRO: I simply use PRO’s platform to stay organized in my business, and expand my entrepreneurial education. PRO truly is a “business in a box! Why I Am In PRO: I’m here because I was sick and tired of following the same “corporate path” that every person thinks will get them the dream. The amazing support and mentorship that PRO offers is unlike any other I’ve ever seen. Hands-down PRO has the best community for entrepreneurs in the world! #MORE#

My Favorite Training Call/Webinar: “The Quality Conversation Call”. This one training call flipped a switch in my brain and transformed the outlook of my business overnight. Understanding the difference between NOT trying to “sell” anyone to simply having a good conversation with that person is VITAL for success in this business.

My 3 Favorite Marketing Strategies:

Video Marketing, Craigslist Ads, Facebook Marketing.

My Childhood: My childhood was spent dreading the hours and days until the school bell rang and I was free to go and have some fun. It’s funny, even as a child I had the entrepreneur spirit. As a youngster I would buy soda cans in bulk with my birthday money, and sell them to my fellow students to make a profit.

What I Do For Fun: Lift Weights, play basketball, hang out with my girlfriend, and eat.

Favorite Quote: “Action is the real measure of intelligence.” – Napolean Hill; “Work smarter, not harder!”

My Most Embarrassing Moment: My most embarrassing moment was after the first night I met my girlfriend, I meant to send my friend a text message about this new girl I met. The text was accidentally sent to my girlfriend…..Luckily she just thought it was a joke to this day (I hope she doesn’t see this). P.S. We’ll save what was said in the text for another time!

Favorite Food: Sushi and buffalo wings! I’m ADDICTED to buffalo flavor. So basically anything with hot sauce on it.

Some Places I’d Like To Visit: I would love to visit Amsterdam and travel all across Europe.

Music I Like: I mostly listen to Hip-Hop and House music.

Favorite Movie/Kind Of Movies: My favorite movie of all time would have to be The ShawShank Redemption. I like any movie that keeps me on the edge of my seat.

Last Celebrity Encounter: I ran into Arnold Schwarzenegger at the Western Wall while in Jerusalem, Israel.

Most Rewarding Experience In My Career: The most rewarding experience in my career was when I made my first BIB sale as a PRO U affiliate. This made me believe anything is possible. If you can sell 1 you can sell 10. If you can sell 10 you can sell 100!

My Biggest Disappointment In My Career, And How I Am Overcoming That Going Forward:

My biggest disappointment was when I first got started with PRO, I dedicated a lot of time to the business and made about 50 videos that were getting pretty good traffic. I then got a YouTube notification that my account has been suspended, and I had no more access to my videos or YouTube channel. All of my hard work went down the drain. To overcome this, I realized it was a learning experience and I immediately continued making more videos than ever, and I made sure everything was backed up and saved in case this ever happened again!

My Pet Peeve: I try and stay away from pessimistic people. I literally think ANYTHING is possible and achievable. Optimism is what I live for!

What I Want My Legacy To Be: I would like for me and my future family to be financially free, and I want to show thousands across the world that there ACTUALLY is a viable alternative to the social norm!!

What would your advice to the newest PRO member be?

The absolute BEST advice I can give to the newest member at PRO would be to simply do what you KNOW rather than what you FEEL. Follow the path that the 6,7, and 8 figure earners have put in place for you in the trainings and you literally can’t fail. The only way you can fail is if you quit!

L4 Leadership Level – Marketing Mentor

PRO Member Since: September 2009

How I Use PRO: Simply put, I use PRO to run my business. I’m in my PRO backoffice daily, checking stats, running tests, learning and managing my business and tasks. It’s also where both my clients and myself come to expand our marketing and entrepreneurial education. I’m super excited about PRO’s new MIGHT Time feature. It’s added an entirely new dynamic to my business and productivity.

Why I Am In PRO: I’m here to wake people up to what’s really possible online. To the type of freedom and lifestyle you can enjoy when you have the right mentorship and a properly structured online business. Both things PRO is notorious for.

My Favorite Training Call/Webinar: My favorite call by far would have to be the Leadership mastermind call. This call is where PRO’s marketing mentors openly and honestly share their perspective and insights on leadership and the science of success.

Perception is reality. When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change. (Literally!)

I believe surrounding yourself with these leaders, soaking in their perspective and applying it into your own life is the quickest way to achieve success. It’s the simple principle of modeling. Success leaves clues.

When you cultivate the same beliefs, and you take the same actions, you will get the same results.

The Leadership Mastermind call is a great place to find the insights and perspective you need to keep moving forward.

My 3 Favorite Marketing Strategies:

Ezine Solo Ads Facebook PPC Banner Advertising

My Childhood: My childhood was that of your stereotypical Canadian kid. Spent most of my time at the hockey rink. If I wasn’t playing, I was watching.

What I Do For Fun: I’m pretty random. Something most people don’t know about me is that I used to play professional paintball. I love playing ball, snowboarding, traveling, and most importantly… napping on the beach :)

Favorite Quote: “Live as if you were to die tomorrow, learn as if you were to live forever.” (Ghandi)

My Most Embarrassing Moment:My most embarrassing moment that I can remember? (I get the feeling I blocked a few out). That would have to be when I first moved to Fort McMurray, being at a brand new high school, and getting woken up in English class. Then being told to stand at the front of the class to read out loud. I had no idea what page we were on, or what chapter even. I stood up there shaking, turned bright red and physically couldn’t get a word out; my throat closed up on me. It was the weirdest thing.

I still have a fear of speaking or reading out loud in public to this day from that lil’ incident.

Favorite Food: I’m addicted to coconut water. Or is it milk? Either way I dunno if that counts as a food. So I’m gonna go with a good ol’ steak.

Some Places I’d Like To Visit: By “like to visit” you mean going to visit? In that case I’m really interested in touring all of South America. I am going to hit up Australia for a bit, hang out in Hawaii for a bit. I’m going to check out the pyramids. I plan on going to Amsterdam for a few weeks this year. I hear Spain is nice. Will be in Costa Rica for the Peak Event. Lots to do before someone mentions another cool place and the list gets bigger…

Music I Like: In all honesty I don’t listen to music that often. I developed the habit of listening to books on audio while at the gym, in the car or on the chairlift. But when I do treat myself, I’m listening to things like Jack Johnson, Bob Marley, all sorts of House music, classic rock like CCR, and all sorts of random stuff.

Favorite Movie/Kind Of Movies: Picking one movie I would say “Grandmas Boy.” But in reality there’s so many good ones. I’m a huge fan of comedies.

A good movie I saw recently was Coach Carter. Great movie; check it out.

Last Celebrity Encounter: I ran into Rihanna in a club in Vancouver a few months ago. I was also on the chairlift with JP Walker a few weeks back.

Most Rewarding Experience In My Career: My most rewarding experience would have to be seeing clients of mine having their first 5 figure days. Or seeing Guy and Ilan Ferdman receive their master marketer award. The most rewarding part about this business is the growth and achievement you get to see in others. I’m proud of everyone I have the pleasure of working with.

My Biggest Disappointment In My Career, And How I Am Overcoming That Going Forward:

My biggest disappointment in my career is that I didn’t get started sooner! Could have caught the good ol’ days of Google when it was the wild west ;) . How am I overcoming that moving forward? Well I’m here now, and I’m here to stay. Life is full of peaks and valleys, highs and lows. Things don’t just happen to us – we have the choice to go out and create them. You’re the sum of your choices up until now. What you do today creates your tomorrow. So I’m going to keep learning, keep growing, and keep capitalizing on opportunities to serve as a leader moving forward.

My Pet Peeve: My pet peeve has to be negative people. Negative People suck… plain and simple. I am forever an optimist :)

What I Want My Legacy To Be: I want my legacy to be my ability to help anyone achieve their personal and financial goals regardless of their circumstances.

What would your advice to the newest PRO member be?

My advice to the newest PRO member would be to pace yourself. Success is a journey, NOT a destination. Be a life long student, but use your common sense, take consistent daily action and keep moving forward. Knowledge is only potential power… if you don’t take action on what you’re learning here it’s completely useless.

The fastest way to get the results and success you’re after is to fail quicker. Don’t be afraid to make mistakes, break things, and learn from your experiences. Keep moving forward and stay in the game.

Its not a matter of IF you will succeed, it’s simply a matter of WHEN.

Take the same approach you would next time you sit down to eat an elephant… take it one bite at a time.

If a broke 22-year-old construction worker can do it… there just might be some hope for you yet ;)
