Peter Hobler Kicks Into Higher Gear

PRO member Peter Hobler has big goals, and he stood as Justin Woolf’s guest on Friday’s Take Action call to tell about how he found ways to make his weekly goals happen.
His biggest challenge was to structure his day properly. “As a business coach, I had been taught to have every minute of every day assigned to a task I wanted to complete,” Peter says. “But I was never really comfortable with that. I felt like I had a lot of creativity under the surface, and I didn’t have any time to let that work for me. It wasn’t about finding more time. It became about prioritizing how to do things.”
What was Peter’s DMO (Daily Method of Operation)?
“I started off the day with the ‘be, have, do’ mentality of thinking like the person you want to become,” says Peter. “I was up until midnight working for a couple of nights. And I’ve been waking up before the alarm clock goes off, which I’ve never done before. I would start by working out a bit. Then I would do my leadership and mindset reading, which would get me in the right mood and give me material for the blog post, article, and video I would do that day.
My number two goal for the week was to get in that ‘be, have, do’ mode, but I discovered that when I’m writing an article or making a video about that mode, I was doing two things at once. It’s effective multitasking. And I realized in hindsight that when you’re creating content like that, you have to be reflecting on it and thinking about it. So that gets you in the mindset as well as completing the action step of getting those tasks done.”
Peter also found ways to enhance his content in addition to creating it. “Yesterday, I spent time working on my blog beyond just doing an article or post,” says Peter. “I put up a comments box and a banner on every page to make it more interactive and more efficient. I’ve gotten some SEO work done for me and used some plugins in the blog as well; the biggest two were the all-in-one SEO pack and the Facebook comments plugins.”
What results is Peter seeing from his focus this week? “I’ve got five main keywords I am focused on, and I am ranked number 3 on my top keyword out of 1.57 BILLION results,” Peter says. Of all his other keywords and keyword variations, he is consistently ranked in the top ten out of more than a million sites on the internet. Although Peter has been working on his content for some time, he says that he has found a higher level of effectiveness this week than he has ever achieved before.
“Peter’s past the phase of getting ready to get ready and talking about what he needs to do to move on,” Master Leadership Mentor Justin Woolf says. “He’s past having that fear that it won’t work. He’s working at mastering it now, not just doing it. And he has never showed up in his business or really owned his business before the way he has this week.
“It makes things so much clearer when you’re at that higher gear and doing what it really takes to succeed. He had to do things that didn’t feel normal to get to that point. It’s like the people who resist going to the gym and then love it when they do go – it becomes part of their being. Peter made his list and got very clear about what he got done. He gave himself a real challenge. In the space of accomplishing the challenge, it has become his new normal – and that’s a very empowering place to be.”

Hi Peter and the Pro U Community of Enlightened Entrepreners
Great stuff about taking action and showing up as a leader. I have heard you on the calls and your compassion for others really shows up. Thanks for your take on “integrity”. You have inspired me to stop getting ready to get ready. Jay Kubassek always says that also. Like Patrick Combs says, “THERE IS MAGIC IN BEGINNING”.
Looking forward to meeting you and the rest of our high flying friends at the MME9. Can’t wait to be surrounded by high achieving, goal oriented folks like us. So tired of being around my family that has blinders on and thinks this is some kind of scheme. What’s wrong with people! Let’s show up as the caring and highly motivated folks we are. GONA BE A BLAST!! Michelle
Michelle, thanks for your comment from the May 25 Make It Happen Call. It can really be mind blowing when some of the people closest to us start in with their negative mindset about things we are completely passionate about, even when they don’t have a clue. Stick to your guns by really honing in on your destination and your INTENTIONS and take intuitive action daily. Definitely come find me at MME 9 in Dallas! With Gratitude, Peter Hobler
